The Paradise Kiss is a Japanese film based on the shoujo series as written and illustrated by Ai Yazawa in 2005. The genre is a mixture of drama, romance, fashion and teenage rebellion.
The movie stars a high school student, Yukari, who is introduced to fashion design by some students from the school of arts. At first, she is reluctant becomes her mother wants her to focus on being a successful student and achieve scholarly. She later puts her studies aside and joins the group, known as Paradise Kiss and realizes that indeed modeling has become her passion and a dream worth pursuing.
Yukari is infatuated with George, the leader of the Paradise Kiss fashion design group, and she has to endure his cold and hot treatment towards her.

The movie is great and creates a perfect reflection of the original Manga series as narrated by Ai Yazawa. It makes the movie more real than the anime version of it. The plot and the choice of characters is amazing making one to watch it more. The poster is as great as the movie itself.
There should be more translations of this movie to make it more popular to other individuals who do not understand Japanese.
